NHS Choices is a large informative website run by a company called Dr Foster for the NHS. I worked for them at the Department of Health from February 2008 to April 2008. I worked on stage 4 of their development process. Most of the work I carried out was to ensure the site reached WA IAA accessibility standards. I also carried out a large amount of bug fixing and created various pages including the site map and a series of 'Easy Read' pages.
The site was written in .net and the majority of the front-end development required the use of Visual Studio. I also had to liase with the back end developers in order to produce quality results.
